How To Stop Premature Ejaculation

Cure Premature Ejaculation With Medication

How confident a man is in his daily life, is directly affected by how he feels about his sexual performance.  This has made the search to cure premature ejaculation understandably a priority in the medical community.

Frustrated with being with a man who can’t last long enough to get them off, many women will simply find sexual gratification elsewhere.

There are several products on the market to help control premature ejaculation.  How well they work varies with each man and you’ll just have to experiment to see what helps you.  The great news is the FDA is close to approving the first drug specifically designed to stop premature ejaculation.

Dapoxetine

The FDA is currently reviewing a new drug to treat premature ejaculation called dapoxetine. If approved dapoxetine will be the first prescription product indicated for premature ejaculation.  Study subjects experienced improvements in all sexual functions, including satisfactory sexual intercourse in addition to significant increase in ejaculatory control.

Clinical trials have shown this medicine can be taken by men on demand to provide significant improvement in their premature ejaculation condition.  Most side effects were reported in the mild to moderate severity and consisted of nausea followed by headache.

Desensitizing Creams

Since women generally take longer to reach orgasm than men and the difference between them can cause sexual stress in men, desensitizing creams, sprays or lotions are used to attempt to delay ejaculation. Side effects reported are a complete lack of sensation during intercourse for the man.  Although the cream is wiped off before intercourse, women have reported the products can transfer to them, causing the same numbing and lack of sexual pleasure.

Pills

Antidepressants such as Prozac have a natural side effect of delaying ejaculation during intercourse.  These drugs don’t have to be taken every day to improve symptoms.  A low dose, several hours before sex, may be enough.  Clinical trials have shown only 39% percent effectiveness in subjects.  That tends to be a small percentage considering the side effects include, nausea, suicidal behavior, dizziness, sleep deprivation, emotional changes, headaches addiction and diarrhea to name a few.

Some erection enhancing drugs like Viagra have also been used by some men in the treatment of premature ejaculation.  Erectile dysfunction drugs, like Viagra, give a man quicker rebound time so that you he get another erection more quickly after orgasm, but it doesn’t actually make you last longer.

All these pills happen to have a delaying effect on ejaculation and are not specifically approved to treat premature ejaculation.

The impact that premature ejaculation has on men and their partners can be devastating on a relationship.  The stress alone can create performance anxiety, which creates premature ejaculation and so it goes on in a vicious circle.

Communication with your lady can go a long way to soothing hurt feelings, and yet, of course you both want a solution.

Now that there’s hope to cure premature ejaculation with medication, many men can stop living their lives in sexual low self esteem.  There’s nothing better for a man than to have the proper working equipment to satisfy his woman. Knowing that there’s help out there and all you have to do is go get it should take a huge weight off your mind.
