Premature Ejaculation Exercises:
Which One's Are Working?
Premature ejaculation is without a doubt a seriously frustrating
condition that millions of men suffer from. It can have devastating
effects on not only a man's confidence but on his relationship with his
partner as well. Not being able to control when you orgasm can be a
major blow to the ego, if you orgasm before your partner does it almost
always ensures that she won't be able to achieve an orgasm as well.
The continual occurrence of premature ejaculation
can cause you to suffer from anxiety which can hinder your performance
in bed, then the vicious cycle continues. You've heard about several
exercises and techniques that can be implemented in order to alleviate
your symptoms of P.E. but when it comes to premature ejaculation
exercises, do they really work?
One increasingly popular exercise is known as Kegel Exercises. Now, I
know in the past that working the Kegel muscles have normally been
associated with a technique that is used primarily by women
performed by flexing the muscles of the vaginal walls. In the 1990's it
was discovered that men too have these types of muscles but is more
commonly referred to as PC muscles.
They surround the genital area and have been said to be more sensitive
in men suffering from premature ejaculation! By contracting the muscles
in that area, holding it, releasing and repeating it several times,
it's been said that it will help to strengthen the area and cause it to
be less sensitive not only to the touch, but to the sensations and
stimulus that an erection produces.
Typically men who try the technique should start to feel a difference
and have more control over their orgasms in about 2 to 3 weeks. Of
course that is different for everyone and depends on how faithfully you
perform the exercises, but it has been proven to work for a number of
men, including those who have had the condition for years!
Another exercise is the stop-start method. Based upon theory, the
stop-start method is exercised by trying to control the stream when a
man urinates. While sitting on a toilet seat with their legs spread
apart, men are asked to start urinating and then to stop at any given
point, hold the urine in, then release it again several times during
urination.
This exercise is supposed to help build up the muscle around the
urethra and help you to control it as well. In doing so, the theory is
that you will be able to control your orgasm by way of building up this
muscle.
In answering the question about if premature ejaculation exercises
really work, it's been proven in a lot of cases that they can, if the
man performing them does it on a consistent basis and doesn't give up.
These exercises were designed to work over time, just like if you were
to body build or lift weights, you wouldn't expect to bench 300 pounds
overnight but over time it would become easier. Same theory applies to
these exercises and if you're serious about curing your premature
ejaculation, you'll give them a try and stick with it!
